How to Connect to Your RuneScape: Dragonwilds Server

RuneScape: Dragonwilds dedicated servers are joined from inside the game. The world password is what gates entry, so that plus the server name is what your friends need.

Find your details

Open your server at https://panel.playnhost.com. The overview shows the IP and the assigned port. The server name and world password come from DedicatedServer.ini, described in our configuration guide.

Join the server

1. Launch RuneScape: Dragonwilds and sign in.
2. Choose to join a world rather than starting a local one.
3. Find your server by its name, or use the direct connect option if your client offers one.
4. Enter the world password when asked.

The world password is not the admin password. Share the first and keep the second.

Find your player ID

Dragonwilds identifies players by a player ID rather than a Steam ID. Yours is shown at the bottom of the in-game Settings menu. You need it to set up the server, because the owner ID is a required setting.

The first start takes a while

A new server creates its default world before accepting anyone. Watch the panel console rather than the client.

If you cannot connect

• Check the panel console. If the server never reaches a ready state, the most likely reason is a missing owner ID. See our troubleshooting guide.
• Confirm the world password matches exactly, including case.
• A version mismatch after a game update stops joins. Restart the server so it pulls the new build.
