How to Connect to Your Wreckfest 2 Server

Wreckfest 2 dedicated servers are found in the in-game multiplayer browser. The server name you set is how players find you, so make it distinctive.

Find your details

Open your server at https://panel.playnhost.com. The overview shows the IP and the assigned port. Wreckfest 2 uses port 30100 by default, but use the value shown for your server rather than assuming.

Join the server

1. Launch Wreckfest 2 and open Multiplayer.
2. Open the server browser and switch to the community or custom list.
3. Clear the filters, particularly the ones hiding empty and password protected servers.
4. Search for your server name as set in the server configuration.
5. Join.

Favourite it

Mark the server as a favourite once you have found it, so you do not have to search each session.

The first player becomes the admin

On a fresh Wreckfest 2 server, the first player to join is given administrator control of the session. Join it yourself before you share the address, so you are the one holding the controls.

If you cannot connect

• Check the panel console. The server logs its startup and the event it loads.
• Confirm the port in the configuration matches the value on the server overview.
• A version mismatch after a game update hides the server from updated clients. Restart the server so it pulls the new build.
• Wreckfest 2 is a newer title and its dedicated server changes between updates. If something behaved differently last week, read the console before assuming a fault.
