How to Connect to Your Palworld Server

Palworld dedicated servers are joined by IP and port. The community list exists, but it is slow to update and easy to lose a server in, so the direct method is what you want.

Find your address

Open your server at https://panel.playnhost.com. The overview shows the IP and the port assigned to SERVER_PORT, which is 8211 by default. The separate RCON_PORT is for administration only and players never use it.

Join by IP

1. Launch Palworld and choose Join Multiplayer Game.
2. At the bottom of the server list there is an address field.
3. Enter 203.0.113.10:8211 using your own IP and port.
4. Click Connect.
5. If a server password is set, enter it when asked.

That single line is what you send to friends.

Find it in the community list

1. From Join Multiplayer Game, use the search box.
2. Type part of your server name exactly as it appears in your settings.
3. Give a new server up to thirty minutes to register before assuming it is missing.

Characters are per server

Palworld characters belong to the server they were made on. Joining your dedicated server creates a new character, and your single player world is untouched.

If you cannot connect

• Check the panel console. Palworld logs the setup completing and the server becoming ready. Before that, connections are refused.
• Make sure you used SERVER_PORT and not the RCON port.
• A version mismatch after a Palworld patch shows as a failed connect. Restart the server so it pulls the update, then restart your client too.
• Palworld's client caches the server list aggressively. Fully restart the game rather than backing out to the menu.
