How to become an admin on your Last Oasis realm

Last Oasis admin rights belong to the realm, not to a single server. They are managed on the MyRealm site rather than in a file on your server.

1. Open your realm

1. Sign in to the official MyRealm site with the Steam account that owns the realm.
2. Open the realm and go to its settings.

2. Add an admin

1. Find the admin section of the realm settings.
2. Add the account you want to promote.
3. Save the change. It applies to every tile in the realm.

Because the rights come from the realm, an admin keeps them wherever they travel inside it. Removing an admin is done in the same place.

3. What admin covers

• Admin commands in game for moderating players on your tiles.
• Realm level settings such as the decay times for a tile, which are edited in the automation section on the site.
• The realm password, which controls who can enter at all.

4. The server side

Your server does not hold an admin list of its own. The customer key and provider key on the Startup page of your server, which you reach by adding /startup to the end of its panel address, are what tie the server to the realm that carries those admin rights. If the server is registered to a different realm, its admins are the other realm's admins.

5. If admin does not work

• Confirm the server registered to the realm you edited. The console reports the realm during boot.
• Have the admin leave and rejoin the realm after the change.
• Check you are signed in to MyRealm with the account that owns the realm, not a member account.

Open a ticket from Support in the Client Area with the console output if your server appears to be attached to the wrong realm.
