1. What you earn

For every new customer you send us you earn a first-sale commission: a share of one full month of the plan they buy, at its normal monthly price before any tax (our prices include VAT, which we take off first). It is at least USD 5 and at most the cap of your level. What every plan pays at your level is listed in your partner dashboard at partners.playnhost.com.

Your level depends on your paying customers in the last 90 days. A customer counts once their commission is earned and not cancelled, and a customer with several servers counts once. Starter (0 to 4 customers): 70% of the first month, at most USD 40, and 10% of each later payment for 6 months. Pro (5 to 19 customers): 80%, at most USD 50, and 15% of each later payment for 12 months. Elite (20 or more customers): 100%, at most USD 60, and 20% of each later payment for as long as the server lives. We update your level every few minutes. It goes up as soon as you qualify and never drops by more than one level in 30 days.

You earn the first-sale commission once the customer's payments for that server cover it with a margin (the commission is at most 80% of what they have paid before tax): straight away when they pay the normal price, unless the commission is more than 80% of that payment (at Elite it then comes with their second payment), and usually at their second month when they bought with a discount such as a first-month offer. Discounts never reduce your commission.

Recurring commissions: on each later payment for a server you referred (renewals, and upgrades of that server; add-ons do not count) you earn your level's recurring share of what was paid before tax, at your level on the day of the payment. A payment counts when the period it pays for starts within 6 months (Starter) or 12 months (Pro) of the customer's first payment, with no limit at Elite. Recurring commissions stop when the server is cancelled or terminated.

Amounts are set in USD and converted to the currency of your account, which is the currency we pay in.

2. Who counts as a new customer

Someone with no earlier PlayNHost account or paid service, who buys through your link within 90 days of clicking it. If two partners are involved, the most recent link wins.

You cannot earn on your own purchases, on purchases by people in your household, or on accounts created to collect a commission.

One sale earns one reward. A customer who joined through another customer's referral link (the credit programme in the panel) earns you nothing as a partner.

3. How a sale is credited

We credit a sale in two ways: through your link, when the visitor allowed marketing cookies on playnhost.com, or through your partner code, when the customer types it at checkout. Your code gives the customer our current new-customer offer and needs no cookie. If a visitor declined cookies and did not use your code, we cannot credit the sale and we do not work around their choice. This is the law in the UK and the EU and it is the visitor's decision, not ours.

Add a tag to your link (the sub tag in the link builder) to see which video, post or page sent each customer.

4. When you get paid

Each commission and bonus is held for 30 days, then becomes available. You can withdraw once you have USD 25 available. You ask for a payout from your partner dashboard. Payout is by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer, and we charge no fee for it (your payment provider's own charges may apply).

We pay within 7 days of your request. For a new partner, the first cash withdrawal opens 60 days after the first sale and is limited to USD 100. After that, the normal rules apply.

Instead of cash you can take your whole available balance as PlayNHost account credit with 15% extra, from USD 5 and at any time, from your partner dashboard. The credit is added to your own PlayNHost account, pays your own invoices, and cannot be turned back into a cash payout.

5. When a commission is cancelled

A first-sale commission is cancelled only if the payment that earned it is refunded, charged back or confirmed fraudulent within 120 days, if the customer leaves before their payments cover it (we wait up to 90 days), or if that customer's server already earned one. We email you the reason each time.

A recurring commission is cancelled only if its payment is refunded, charged back or confirmed fraudulent within 120 days. A recruit commission follows the commission it comes from, and a milestone bonus is cancelled if the customers it counted are.

If this happens after we paid you, we take it off your future earnings. A customer who cancels or does not renew later never affects a commission you already earned; it only ends the recurring commissions for that server.

6. Bonuses and recruiting

Milestone bonuses: when your 1st, 10th, 50th and 100th paying customer is earned, you get a one-off bonus of USD 5, USD 25, USD 100 and USD 250. Each is held for 30 days like a commission.

Challenges: from time to time we run a challenge with a goal (for example a number of paying customers or clicks), a bonus and dates, shown in your partner dashboard. Every partner who reaches the goal between those dates gets the bonus after the challenge ends, held for 30 days like a commission.

Recruiting: share your recruit link (partners.playnhost.com/join?r=your code). When someone joins the programme through it, you earn 5% of every commission they earn in their first 12 months as a partner. We pay it on top: it is never taken from them. It works one level deep only, so you earn nothing on partners recruited by your recruits. You cannot recruit yourself or someone in your household: a recruit with the same account, email address or internet address as you is not linked to you.

7. Rules

You must be 18 or older to join the programme and to receive payouts. We may ask for proof of age before we pay you.

Say that your link is an affiliate link (for example "affiliate link" or "#ad") wherever you post it.

Do not bid on our brand name in paid search ("playnhost" and close misspellings). Other advertising is fine. Do not use coupon or cashback sites without asking us first.

Do not make claims we do not make ourselves. Link to the game page for prices instead of quoting them. No spam, no fake reviews, no pretending to be PlayNHost, no hiding where a link goes. Follow the law and the rules of the sites where you post.

We may hide a landing page, remove a short link name or refuse a picture that breaks these rules.

8. If we think a rule was broken

We tell you in writing what we found and why, and give you 14 days to answer. We still pay commissions on sales that were not affected. We will not close an account that has a balance without telling you the reason.

9. Changes, data and tax

We give 30 days' notice by email before changing these terms. Commissions you have already earned are paid under the terms they were earned under.

You see clicks, sign-ups and sales. We do not give you customers' personal details. You are responsible for your own taxes on what we pay you. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
