How to Become an Admin on Your Path of Titans Server

Path of Titans does not use Steam IDs. Admins are identified by their Alderon Games ID, a nine digit number written as 123-456-789.

Find your Alderon Games ID

1. Launch Path of Titans and sign in.
2. Open your profile from the main menu.
3. Your AGID is displayed there in the XXX-XXX-XXX format.

Ask each person you want to promote for theirs. It is not something you can look up from outside the game.

Add yourself to the admin list

1. Stop the server.
2. In the panel open Files and edit:

   PathOfTitans/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini

3. Under the game session section, add one line per admin:

   [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]
   ServerAdmins=123-456-789
   ServerAdmins=987-654-321

4. Save and start the server.

Repeat the key for each admin. Do not try to put several IDs on one line.

Use the admin tools

Join the server. Admins get the in-game admin panel, which covers:

• The player list, with kick and ban.
• Teleporting to a player or bringing one to you.
• Healing, growth and marks adjustments, for putting right a bug.
• Server announcements.
• Flight and invulnerability for inspecting the map.

RCON

Path of Titans supports RCON, and it is the practical route for moderation without being in game. Enable it in Game.ini and set the port to the RCON_PORT value allocated to your server, shown on the server overview. Choose a long RCON password, since it grants full control.

Whitelisting and moderators

The same config supports a whitelist and lower privilege roles. Add players to the whitelist before you enable it, or you will lock yourself out and have to fix it with the server stopped.

If admin does not apply

• Check the AGID format. It is nine digits with two hyphens.
• The server must be restarted after the edit.
• Each admin needs their own ServerAdmins= line.
• If your change vanished, you edited the file while the server was running.
