How to connect to your ANEURISM IV server

This article covers joining your PlayNHost ANEURISM IV server and the address to hand to your friends.

1. Find your server address

1. Log in to the Client Area at https://playnhost.com/billing and open your ANEURISM IV service.
2. Note the IP / Hostname and Port.
3. The same details are on the server dashboard in the Game Panel at https://panel.playnhost.com.

The game port defaults to 7777, with the Steam port and query port on the two ports above it. Your server may be on a different range, so read the port from the panel rather than assuming.

2. Start the server

1. Open your server in the Game Panel and click Start.
2. Watch the Console until the map has loaded and the server reports it is ready.

3. Join with the console

1. Launch ANEURISM IV and stay on the main menu.
2. Press the ` key, the one under Escape, to open the console.
3. Type connect <ip> using your server address, then press Enter.
4. If the server has a password, you are prompted for it.

This is the method to give anyone who says they cannot find the server in the list.

4. Join from the server browser

1. From the main menu, open the server list.
2. Search for your server name.
3. Select it and join.

The list depends on the query port answering, so give the server a minute after it starts before you expect to see it.

5. What to give your friends

• The IP and port, for the connect command.
• The server name, for the browser.
• The password, if you set one.

If a player is refused, check the player limit and confirm they are on the same game version. Open a ticket from Support in the Client Area with the exact error if it continues.
