Conan Exiles server is not in the server list

The Conan Exiles browser is the weakest part of the game. A server that is running but invisible is usually the list, not the server.

1. Prove the server is fine

1. In the game, open Online, then Direct Connect.
2. Enter IP:Port with the game port from your panel.

If that connects, the server is healthy and everything below is about the browser.

2. Clear every filter

• Choose the unofficial list, not official.
• Clear the map filter, the game mode filter and the ping filter.
• Turn off the options that hide full and password protected servers while you look.
• Search on a distinctive word from your server name rather than the whole name.

3. Refresh properly

• A newly started server can take ten minutes to appear.
• The list caches. Closing the game entirely and reopening it works better than the refresh button.
• Once you find it, favourite it. Favourites do not depend on a full list refresh.

4. Check the server name

• An empty ServerName in Engine.ini makes a server nearly impossible to find.
• Unusual characters break searching. Stick to letters, numbers and spaces.
• Confirm the value survived the last restart. If it reverted, you edited a running server.

5. Players are dropped as they join

• A mod mismatch is the usual cause. The client shows which mods differ before it connects.
• Everyone needs the same mods in the same order as modlist.txt.
• After a game update, restart the server so it updates too. A client on a newer build cannot join.

If direct connect fails as well, open a ticket from Support in the Client Area with your IP, game port, query port and the error your players see.
