How to make yourself an admin on your Veloren server

Admin rights in Veloren are granted from the server console, which you have in the panel.

1. Open the console

1. Log in at https://panel.playnhost.com and open your Veloren server.
2. Make sure the server is running. The console only accepts commands while it is up.

2. Grant the role

Type the following into the console, replacing the name with the Veloren username you log in with:

admin add YourName admin

To grant moderator rights instead, use moderator in place of admin.

3. Reconnect

Log out and back in for the change to take effect. You will then have the in-game admin commands available with /.

4. Removing an admin

admin remove YourName

If names are not being checked

Admin rights are tied to the account name Veloren's authentication gives you. If you have turned Auth Enabled off, anyone can connect using any name, including an admin's, so leave authentication on for any server you moderate.
