How to Connect to Your Nightingale Server

Nightingale dedicated servers are joined from inside the game. The connection password is what gates entry, so it is the thing to share along with the server name.

Find your details

Open your server at https://panel.playnhost.com. The overview shows the IP and the assigned port. The server name and connection password come from your server settings, described in our configuration guide.

Join the server

1. Launch Nightingale and sign in.
2. Choose to join a dedicated server rather than hosting your own realm.
3. Find your server by name, or enter the address if your client offers a direct connect field.
4. Enter the connection password when asked.

The connection password is not the admin password. Give players the first and keep the second to yourself.

Your character and your realm

Nightingale characters and realm progress belong to the server they were made on. Joining your dedicated server starts fresh there, and your solo realms are untouched.

The first start takes a while

A new server generates its realm before accepting anyone. Watch the panel console rather than the client, and allow several minutes.

If you cannot connect

• Check the panel console. The server logs its startup and reports when it is ready.
• Confirm the connection password matches exactly, including case.
• A version mismatch after a game update stops joins. Restart the server so it pulls the new build.
