American Truck Simulator server does not appear in the convoy browser

A convoy session that is running but invisible almost always comes down to one of these.

1. No valid logon token

Without a Steam game server token the session runs but is never published. Check the console during boot for a line about the logon token, then set server_logon_token in server_config.sii with a token created for App ID 270880 on your own Steam account.

2. The session is hidden by config

• show_server must be true.
• friends_only must be false unless you only want Steam friends to see it.
• A password does not hide a session. It only asks for the password on join.

3. Use the Session Search ID instead of the browser

The browser list is slow and long. The server prints a Session Search ID in the console, a long number with a slash in it. Pasting that into the search field in the Convoy menu finds the session directly. Send that to your friends rather than asking them to scroll.

4. Server packages are missing or stale

• If server_packages.sii and server_packages.dat are missing, the server cannot host the map properly.
• If they were exported before a game update, export them again from your PC and upload both files.
• A player who does not own the map DLC the packages were built with cannot join, even though they can see the session.

5. The config file will not load

• A moderator_list count that does not match the number of entries breaks the file.
• Missing quotation marks around text values break it too.
• The console prints a parse error near the start of the boot. Read the first lines after a start.

6. Everyone is not on the same game version

Steam updates the game on your players' PCs automatically. After a patch, the server needs to be restarted so it updates too. Restart it from the panel and try again.

If the session is still missing, open a ticket with the full console output from a fresh start and the Session Search ID if one was printed.
