Can I install Steam Workshop mods?
Yes. There is a Workshop mod IDs field in the panel. Paste the IDs of the mods you want, restart, and the server loads them. That is a real egg setting rather than a support request.
Why does the smallest plan start at 8GB?
Because Space Engineers simulates physics on every grid. A large ship is thousands of blocks with mass, power and inertia, and the server holds all of that. Anything less than 8GB would run a world that stutters the moment someone builds properly, so it is not sold here.
Can I run creative mode?
Yes, game mode is a panel field. Survival and creative are both selectable, as are experimental mode and in-game scripts, which many Workshop blueprints need.
How often does it save?
Every five minutes by default, and both the interval and whether saving is enabled at all are panel fields. Saves are in the server directory, which you can download over SFTP for your own backups.
Does the server update itself?
Automatic updates are on by default. If a Workshop mod you depend on has not caught up with a patch, turn it off in the panel and update deliberately.
