How is Open World different from RimWorld Together?
Both are RimWorld multiplayer mods and both are on this site. Open World keeps every player on one continuous shared map; Together links separate player colonies together on a shared map screen instead. Pick whichever matches how your group wants to play.
Is the player limit actually enforced?
Yes. The panel writes it into the mod’s own MAX_PLAYERS setting on the server, so it is a real cap the game applies, not just a number on the page.
Do players need the same mods installed?
