How to connect to your Last Oasis server

Last Oasis works differently from most games we host. A server is a tile inside a realm, and players choose the realm from the in game list rather than typing an IP address.

1. Your realm has to exist first

A realm is registered on the official MyRealm site with your own Steam account. That is where your realm gets its name and its keys. Until the realm exists and your server is registered to it, there is nothing for players to join. See the realm setup guide in this category.

2. Start the server

1. Open your server in the Game Panel at https://panel.playnhost.com and click Start.
2. Watch the Console. The server registers with the Last Oasis backend during boot, and any key problem is reported there.
3. Your IP and ports are on the server dashboard and in the Client Area at https://playnhost.com/billing.

3. Join from the game

1. Launch Last Oasis.
2. Open the realm selection screen.
3. Find your realm by name and select it.
4. Travel into the tile your server hosts.

4. What to give your players

• The realm name, which is what they look for.
• The realm password, if you set one on the MyRealm site.
• A note that the realm has to be selected before the tile is reachable.

5. If the realm does not appear

• Check the console for errors about the customer key or provider key. A server that fails to register never shows up.
• Confirm the realm is set to be visible on the MyRealm site.
• Give it a few minutes after the server reports it has registered.

Open a ticket from Support in the Client Area with the console output from a fresh start if the realm stays missing.
