Is this the old Java version or the new one?
The current Unity-engine dedicated server, which is the game’s default branch today. The older Java build still exists as a legacy Steam beta branch but is not what this product runs.
How much RAM does a fresh world need?
We measured a default-generated world at rest and it plateaued around 300 MB with nobody connected. A short spike to roughly 680 MB happens during the initial world generation and is released afterward.
Can I set a server password and game mode?
Yes. Server name, password, default game mode (Survival or Creative) and the world name are all panel fields.
Is RCON available?
Yes, RCON can be enabled with its own password and port as panel fields.
