SCP: 5K servers are found in the in-game server browser. Your server has a game port that players connect on and a query port the browser reads.
Find your details
Open your server at https://panel.playnhost.com. The overview shows the IP and the ports assigned to SERVER_PORT and QUERY_PORT.
Join the server
- Launch SCP: 5K and open the multiplayer server browser.
- Clear the filters, particularly the ones hiding empty and password protected servers.
- Search for your server name as set in your startup settings.
- Join, entering the password if one is set.
Favourite it
Mark the server as a favourite once you find it, so you do not have to search each session.
The first start takes a while
A new server loads its first map before it is listed. Watch the panel console rather than the browser.
If you cannot connect
- Check the panel console for the server reporting the map has loaded.
- Confirm you are using the
SERVER_PORTvalue and not the query port. - A version mismatch after a game update hides the server from updated clients. Restart the server so it pulls the new build.
- If the server never appears, check the map rotation. A map name the build does not recognise stops the server reaching a playable state, and the console names it.
