Your server name (hostname) is the primary way players identify your Counter-Strike 2 community server in the public server browser. Setting a clear and custom server name makes it easier for players to find and recognize your server.

You can change the server name at any time through your control panel.

Changing Your Server Name

1. Log in to your server control panel .
2. Stop your Counter-Strike 2 server.
3. Navigate to the Config tab.
4. Locate the Hostname field.
5. Enter your desired server name.
6. Save your changes.
7. Start your server.

Once the server starts, the new name will appear in the Counter-Strike 2 server browser.

Tips for Choosing a Good Server Name

• Keep it short and easy to read.
• Avoid excessive symbols or formatting.
