How to Change the Map on Your Counter-Strike 2 Community Server
Counter-Strike 2 community servers allow you to set a default map that loads automatically when players join the server. You can choose from all built-in CS2 maps and configure them through your server control panel.

Common Default Maps

You can find all available default maps by navigating to the Files tab in your control panel and opening:
/game/csgo/maps
Setting the Default Map
- Log in to your server control panel.
- Stop your server.
- Navigate to the Config tab.
- Locate the Map field.
- Enter the desired map name (for example,
de_mirage). - Save your changes.
- Start your server.
Once the server starts, it will automatically load the selected map.
Changing the Map via Console
You can also change the active map while the server is running by using the console command below:
map mapname
Example:
map de_dust2
The server will immediately switch to the selected map.
